Extended Family Photo Shoots:: Bexley, Ohio Family Photographer

I typically wait a little closer to Christmas time to write this post, but with COVID and limiting the amount of sessions I am taking a month, I figured I would do it now.

Being a photographer has opened my eyes to one of the best gifts you can give your parents (when you are old enough to afford to pay for gifts without your parent’s help LOL) PHOTOS! When your parents start having grand kids, and everyone starts growing, life seems to pass sooo quickly. What is a better way to stop time than an extended family photo session?

These are honestly my favorite type of photo sessions to shoot, and lately I have become obsessed with purchasing them for my in-laws and my parents.

Recently we did a family vacation to Destin. This is then I opted to hire a photographer for my side of the family. Unfortunately a tropical storm moved in minutes after we started, but I am THRILLED with what our photographer was able to accomplish in the short 20 mins we shot. I was able to capture the rest with the help of my brother in law capturing my family. Thank you Mama Hen Moments for helping us capture these memories!!

But back earlier in the summer, I hired a photographer near Lima, Ohio to capture my husband’s side of the family. We have one cousin who is leaving for college, and my youngest is the last (planned) grandchild, so we figured it was the best time to capture the family as a whole!

I always feel like it is a cop-out for a PHOTOGRAPHER to gift photography sessions, but both my mom and my mother in law LOVED their sessions!!!
