SOOO Many new CHANGES:: Bexley, Ohio Family Photographer

Cha Cha Cha CHAAAANNNGGES…. the song plays through my head as I think of everything that has gone on in the past 4 months! COVID and racial justice movements, statues coming down, and an election coming up, and SOOOO much in our country. But on a smaller note, our little studio has changed over that short time as well.

One BIG thing you may notice on our website, is that Felecia is no longer with us. With the uncertainty of COVID, and not knowing IF we would ever be able to hold another baby, she opted to look for a more stable job. This lead to her finding a great job that she could work from home, get paid well, and home school her kids come fall. So I (Erin) will be taking back over the newborn sessions full time, and you can see my most updated work on our newborn instagram page:-) Go follow us;-)

Of COURSE there will always be rumors when a big change like this happens, but really, we are still great friends, we still talk every day, and she still shares the studio with me for personal and family projects….so you may still see her be-boppin around in there. (She assisted me with a twin shoot recently!).

Speaking of jobs….I finished nursing school and got my DREAM JOB!!!

L&D nurse at OSU!!! I will be snuggling babies all through my life LOL…well, as much as COVID allows me:-/

So many have asked me if I was giving up photography…HECK NO!!! I love this job too much! I am just scaling back a bit. I will limit the sessions to 5 a month (with the option to add more if i feel I can handle it while still spending quality time with my family:-) Especially with the schools potentially being 100% online, I will be working night shift, and teaching my children during the day. Since I can only take so many session, I have changed the pricing a bit to (unfortunately) naturally decrease the amount of sessions I take. (Don’t worry, if you already have a session booked, or a milestone, you will fall under the pricing you booked at). I have a TERRIBLE time saying no to people….so hoping this new pricing causes people to say no to me….lol…but not TOO many people;-) I know this stinks…it is one of the hardest parts of this business, because I know long time clients will not return. But in the long run, I have to do what is right for my family and my sanity:-)

Sonia is still here!! She will be focusing on the seniors and even doing a sweet 16 session coming up!! I cannot wait to share what she has in store for that session!! IF I book up all 5 sessions for the month, fear not, you will still have the chance to get your photos taken! She will be available to pick up more sessions.

Every business has seasons of change, and this is a BIG one for Irish Eyes! I am excited, nervous, and ready to get it started. If you have ANY questions, PLEASE don’t hesitate to ask!
