Columbus, Ohio Senior Studio Photos

I have known this young lady for going on a decade. She is the daughter of my hair and makeup artist, and I have been looking forward to taking her senior portraits since I started working with Leigh Ann. And boy oh boy she didn’t disappoint! Genevieve ROCKED her senior photo session.

This part of her photo session she opted for studio portraits, because let’s face it, Ohio has volatile weather, and although there are amazing places to shoot outside in Columbus, like most seniors, Genevieve has an extremely busy schedule, and so it is hard to reschedule if we needed to. We will attempt to schedule her cap and gown and graduation session later in the spring when the weather is a bit more cooperative.

The fun thing about capturing photos for people you know well, I feel soooo much more comfortable attempting new techniques with light and utilizing new props and backgrounds. Because if the photos don’t come out as I envisioned, they won’t hold it against me LOL. SO we played, and had a BLAST! The new black wall photographed BEAUTIFULLY and we had fun with adding interest to our white/grey backgound!
